She was such a good girl though, and did great on the 2 hour ride there and the 2 hour ride home. She did great waiting and looked spectacular in her skirt and turtleneck and vest.

But when the doctor finally came in, he brought about 7 medical students in with him. Stella suddenly began quacking like a duck at this point, and I'm sure she looked pretty darn looney. Driving home, John and I realized how funny that was!
When we finally got out of there, we were starving, so we took a big chance and took Stella to the LaFayette Coney Island. Downtown Detroit and especially Woodward Avenue look so much better than the last time we were there. But as is customary, we had trouble parking in front of the Coney and were verbally assaulted by a homeless guy (presumably) wanting pocket change.
Stella had a tiny tantrum in there because we took away her pop because it was leaking. But the ever-quick Coney guys got her a new cup and she was happy.

Winter is finally back and we lost power for about 1 hour & 45 minutes last night between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. This is the second time we've had an ice storm this winter; John says he can't remember two ice storms in one Michigan winter. Everything looks really pretty, but we're wondering how this ice storm will affect the new oak tree we planted in November.

Otherwise, all is well here and we're just busy getting ready for Baby Puzzuoli #2.
